Cashmere is the down of a goat of the same name, which lives in Mongolia and the Himalayas. Traditionally, very fine goat hair was collected by combing the fleece. Today, they are mowed once a year, in spring.

Modal is an artificial textile of natural origin, obtained by spinning cellulose fibers from wood (often beech). As such, it is a type of viscose. Modal can be used alone, or combined with other fibers
